“Being married to a Wiradjuri man and raising two Wiradjuri children in rural New South Wales was an enlightening experience. I became part of a wonderfully passionate community and enjoyed hearing many stories. I took these stories all around the world, sharing them with many First Nations people, including the Navajo Nation Parliament. I am passionate about helping to create opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, where a holistic concept that includes physical, social, emotional, cultural and spiritual well being is adopted as the norm.”
